Independent Complaints Support
An independent procedural process for complaints raised against a member compliance certifier, in accordance with clause 20 of the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances—Information and Process Requirements for Compliance Certifiers) Performance Standard.
One complaint process is included free per membership year; additional assistance is available at a fixed fee.
Member-only Regulatory Forum
A member-only platform for seeking clarification and facilitating informed discussion on specific regulations. The Society provides a single, coordinated voice to the Technical Team and WorkSafe, with outcomes and guidance shared across the membership.
Audit Support
Assistance for member certifiers in working constructively with WorkSafe to ensure fair and efficient audits. The Society also engages with WorkSafe to help improve the overall certifier experience during audits.
Working Groups
Collaboration with WorkSafe on policy clarifications, Safe Work Instruments (SWIs), and guidance documents, providing members with a direct voice in regulatory development.
